Radio back-catalogues, ministry archives and podcast networks across Nigeria and francophone Central Africa. Decades of in-language talk and call-in programming, anglophone and francophone, never licensed to anyone. Fragmented, un-brokered, with no aggregator currently serving it.
Production archive
Nollywood production libraries, broadcaster holdings, and event and commercial videographers — the long tail of African rights holders with genuine volume and no commercial route to frontier buyers.
Commissioned speech
Purpose-collected conversational Nigerian Pidgin and Nigerian English, code-switched, channel-separated, transcribed, with full speaker metadata and consent written to cover commercial AI training from the outset.
Commissioned real-world capture
Egocentric and fixed capture in settings effectively absent from current corpora: open-air markets, non-Western domestic and food-preparation environments, dense two-wheeler traffic, small-scale agriculture, roadside repair and hand-tool work.
The economics only work at the aggregation layer.
A single Lagos radio station with fifteen years of call-in tape holds something a speech lab wants. It does not hold enough to justify a frontier lab's legal, technical and procurement effort on its own — and it has no idea the material has a market, what to ask for it, or what an AI training licence needs to say.
On the buyer's side the mirror problem applies: no acquisition team can run separate diligence, title verification and contracting against two hundred small African counterparties for a single dataset. The transaction only closes if someone stands in the middle — verifying title once, contracting on a consistent instrument, and presenting the result as one auditable supply.
