TexaData

A registered Nigerian company, not an intermediary.

Texa Data is the data origination division of Texa Global Technologies Ltd, a technology company incorporated in Lagos and building proprietary digital products across African markets. We contract directly with rights holders, we pay them ourselves, and we carry the warranty on the material we supply.

That matters in this market. A broker who forwards footage without holding the rights passes an unresolved liability to the buyer. Our contributor instruments run to Texa, and our licence to a buyer is granted with the right to sublicense onward — so what a laboratory receives is clean at the point of receipt.

The company is founder-led from Lagos, with an operating network extending into francophone Central Africa. Registration particulars are public and verifiable at the Corporate Affairs Commission.

How we hold ourselves

01
Contributors retain ownership
We license, we do not buy out. Contributors keep title to their material and are paid for its use.
02
Warranty sits with Texa
We warrant the rights we grant. The buyer is not asked to rely on a chain we cannot produce.
03
Paid at the point of capture
Nobody waits for a downstream settlement. Contributors are paid on the day, with a reference.

Photography on this site

The photographs used across this site are licensed editorial images of the region we operate in. They are not Texa capture frames and are not presented as deliverable material — capture stills are released to buyers under NDA, against an asset ID. Every frame below comes from Wikimedia Commons, chosen because a Commons file states where it was taken in its own record rather than leaving it to the eye. The place shown is that stated place, and the build fails if a frame is used without one.
