Lagos, Abuja, Douala and Yaoundé have property markets that move billions and are documented almost entirely in private spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and the filing cabinets of estate surveying firms. There is no MLS. There is no public price index worth the name. A model asked to reason about African urban property has, at present, effectively nothing to read.
We take this from the firms that generate it — agencies, developers, estate surveyors and valuers — under a licence naming model training and permitting onward sublicensing. Buyer and seller identities are removed before delivery and the transaction structure is kept intact. Addresses are generalised to a precision agreed per tranche rather than dropped, because the geography is most of the value and a record stripped of it is worth close to nothing.
This is the record class where the corridor position matters most and is least replaceable. Reconstructing who holds what, and getting a firm in Ikoyi or Bonapriso to sign a written instrument, is relationship work done in person over months. It is not a scraping problem, which is precisely why nobody has done it.
